HOUSEKEEPING

We offer a weekly room service if you are staying with us for 7 nights or more. If you do require a service, please contact reception at least 24 hours prior.

If you would like clean towels, face washers, hand towel, bath mat or tea towels during your stay, please contact on reception (08) 9844 8889 and we will happily replace them for you.

Beach towels are available in the chest of drawers in each bedroom. Dish washing liquid, washcloths, fly spray and your sink plug are in the cupboard under the kitchen sink. We ask that guests please clean and dry their own dishes. Please feel free to ask staff for additional requirements during office hours.

MEAL SERVICE

We offer tasty, homestyle meals which can microwaved in your room for your convenience. Please visit us at reception to find what is on the menu.

TEA & COFFEE FACILITIES

Each chalet has complimentary tea, coffee and sugar supplied along with a kettle, cups and saucers. You will also find 1 litre of milk in your fridge.

TELEVISION

All chalets have a 40 inch flatscreen TV. Most are smart TVs, if you would like to stream your favourite shows, be sure to have your login details for your services.

DVD PLAYERS

DVD players are available from reception. Please note: we are unable to supply DVD’s.

PILLOWS AND BLANKETS

All our chalets have extra pillows and blankets. These are located in on top of the wardrobes. Please contact the office if you would like an exchange of pillows.

AIR CONDITIONING

Reverse cycle air conditioning is available in all chalets. For year-round comfort, we suggest setting the temperature to 22 degrees on the auto setting.

INTERNET

Free WI FI is available. See guest registration form for the network and password.

PARKING

Free private parking is available in your own carport. There is also plenty of parking space for boats and trailers. You are welcome to park boats and trailers on the lawn.

SMOKING

All our chalets are STRICTLY NO SMOKING. Smoking inside your chalet may incur a $200 fee to eliminate the odour from curtains, carpets and bedding.

If smoking outside, please close your door to prevent smoke drifting inside and use the ashtrays provided.

PETS

We welcome your pets to Emu Beach Chalets, though please be considerate of others during your stay. Please use a lead when in public areas and pick up after your pet. Additionally, please don’t allow your pets on any furniture or bedding. There is a nightly pet fee of $25 per night for 1 pet, and $45 per night for 2 or more pets.

CHECK-OUT TIME

Guests are required to vacate their chalet by 10.00am on the day of departure. Please leave the chalet key and the signed guest registration form on the kitchen bench.

Late check-out is only by prior arrangement and subject to availability. Charges may apply, please contact reception to enquire.

GUEST LAUNDRY

Located between the large shed and chalet 12. Open from 8.00am – 7.30pm.

There you will find:

• 1 small and 1 large automatic washing machine @ $5 or $8 ($1 coins, cold wash only)
• Clothes dryer @ $3 for half an hour ($1 coins)
• Iron and ironing board

Coins are available at reception.

Laundry detergent is available at reception (50c each).

Clothes lines are located alongside your chalet and pegs can be found in your bathroom either in the vanity cupboard, or in the laundry trough cupboard.

FISH CLEANING

There is a great fish cleaning facility station at Emu Point boat ramp. Please use this facility to clean your catch.

BARBECUE 

Located in the undercover gazebo you will find 2 BBQs for your use. In order to ensure the area is ready for other guests, please leave this area clean and tidy.  

RUBBISH BINS

Large green rubbish bins are located at the front of your carport.

There is a cash for cans crate located on the blue-mix hardstand where the bins are stored.

BEACH

The beach is just 200 metres from Emu Beach Chalets. Just turn right out of the driveway and you will come to paths leading you over the dunes. This a dog friendly beach. Enjoy a walk, swim or cycle along the great cycle path to Middleton Beach. Beach towels are supplied in every chalet.

LOCAL  ATTRACTIONS

We are more than happy to discuss local sites and attractions if you require more information. CAFES / RESTRAURANTS

There are many excellent cafes and restaurants to enjoy in Albany. Emu Point Cafe and the Squid Shack are both walking distance from Emu Beach Chalets. Others are only a short drive to Middleton Beach or the town centre.

During your stay, consideration to your neighbours is appreciated. Please limit noise after 8pm.

LOST & FOUND

Please check your chalet before departure. Should you lose or find anything during your stay, please contact the office. While every effort will be made to locate and return your property to you, we do not accept responsibility for it.

MAINTENANCE

If you find any problems or damage during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so we can repair or replace it. Call into the office to report any issues or phone 0428 789 163.

AFTER HOURS ASSISTANCE

Should you need assistance outside of office hours, please pick up the wall phone next to reception. This will connect you with on-call staff that will be happy to assist.
